This book style tablet case is designed for pilots, air travelers, and fans of the Hardy Boys. I transformed "The Great Airport Mystery" from 1965 into a case for your small- or medium-sized tablet. On the front cover, Frank and Joe Hardy look for clues inside an airplane hanger. What do they see in that puddle of oil? Nearby, a policeman holds a broken piece of wood. Through the doorway, we see the control tower in the distance.
The case measures 5" (13 cm) by 7 1/2" (19.3 cm). Inside, two panels protect your device, which is held in place by black elastic at each corner. To continue the aviation theme, I covered the panels in a sky blue cotton print with jet planes flying through the clouds and a few globes thrown in for good measure . The panel facing the device screen is padded and includes a rectangular pocket that can hold papers, cards, or other flat items. A red-brown elastic band wraps around the case to keep it closed.
You can hold the case just like you'd hold a paperback book, with the front cover folded behind the back cover. Get the feel of a "real" book while reading a digital one.
Given its age, the front cover is in excellent condition. The original price tag ($1.50) is intact.
